The video below shows the removal of a saline ruptured implants through the valve. What was surprising was that the implant I removed from the left breast was a 24-year-old CUI breast implant. This CUI implant is no longer available in the United States, and it is very rare in my practice to still see them.
When I removed the ruptured implant, the saline fluid that remained in the implant was a little yellow in color due to increased levels of protein and fibrin within the ruptured implant. As you can see from the video, only about 30 percent of the saline remained inside the implant.
